I met Jessica while working at the Beechwood Hotel in Worcester. We had both grown in the boutique hotel, me from Restaurant management to eventually Sales, Jessica from a Server to Sales management as well. I will never forget when she told me about her new fur child Nala, and how Dean is just as in love with her as she is. Soon after, I launched Unique Melody Events and Design and Jessica announced her engagement! It was the perfect time for us to work together again and I am so honored to have been apart of their planning and big day!
First, we had to find a venue that would be pet friendly to allow their fur child to be apart of the ceremony. Nala was not going to miss being apart of her parents big day! We found the Barn at Wight Farm in Sturbridge was a great fit.
With a Bridal Suite for the ladies to finish getting dressed, it allowed Root & Bud Photography to grab some great onsite getting ready photos, followed by a first look and formal photos. This helped conserve time and get the most out of the photographers’ hired hours. There was also many backdrop options for each moment!
The brisk November ceremony was held on the back patio and was followed by a cocktail and dinner reception in the barn. I worked with Jessica to help put together her DIY decor by adding accents of greens and fall berries to each table. the rounds had decorated lanterns and banquet 6fts held garland style of the same greenery.
A DIY photobooth was available to guests downstairs and the night was full with tasty treats from a Donut station to late night bites provided by a Food truck. There was no shortage of food, family, friends or fun!
