The Dream Team

Yvonne Caole-Sousa

Yvonne launched UME in 2015 after years of management in the hospitality industry. Her career began while finishing her degree in Sports, Entertainment and Event Management at the University of Johnson & Wales. Following, she gained knowledge and experience throughout her trade as a Banquet Manager, Food and Beverage Director, and then Social Catering Sales Manager for a Luxury Boutique hotel and a Golf Resort. Soon she realized working for a venue was limited and she craved more. With the support of her family and past clients, UME was launched and has been growing ever since! 

Fun Facts: Mom of 3 boys. Was a backup dancer on tour in 2006 (five minutes of fame). Yoga brings me back to my center. Warm weather and a beach is my happy place!

Experience: Background in Military and Healthcare

Fun Fact: I grew up Irish step dancing - if I have too many drinks I still think I can Irish step 😂 Mom two kiddos

Experience: In the wedding/events industry for 13 years now! 
Time at UME: 5 years
Fun Fact: State, regional and national champion cheerleader many moons ago and I still love being upside down!

Experience: 15 plus years of hospitality experience...longer if you want to count when I started working for my parents at age 6.
Time at UME: 4 years with UME
Fun Fact: MA State Champ for waterskiing for many years

Experience: Hospitality experience- jeez… 10 years? 
Time with UME: 3 wonderful years ❤️
Fun fact: I love going to book themed balls

Experience: 4 years in Hospitality, 2 years as a bridal consultant

Fun Fact: Also a professional aerialist.

Experience: 8 years in Hospitality, 3 in Corporate Planning

Fun Fact: I lived in Lebanon for 2 years, experiencing culture and amazing food!

Lead Coordinator



Experience: I have about 5 years of hospitality experience.
Time at UME: I've been with UME for 5 months 
Fun Fact: My favorite unofficial holidays are Boston Parade days. 

Associate PLanner/coordinator



Experience: 6 years of experience in hospitality 
Time at UME: 6 years at UME
Fun Fact: A fun fact about me is that I used to run a small charcuterie board business! While I may not sell boards anymore I still love snacking on cheese and crackers!

Assisting Coordinator



Experience: 5 years in hospitality.
Time at UME: 6 months on the UME team.
Fun Fact: I enjoy writing short stories and screenplays on the side

Admin/Assisting Coordinator




Experience: I've had about 6 years of hospitality experience, working in different restaurants, functions, and catering events!
Time at UME: New addition to the UME team
Fun Fact: I'm a lady of all trades! I love dabbling in all hobbies and fields of work. I like to think that I'm a student of life, and there are endless possibilities, never really limiting myself to one thing.
